I'm leavin' on a jet plane...actually a United Airlines Boeing 777-200 pictured here...just me and around 300 other passengers...first leg...London...for a 12 hour layover, then Johannesburg with an 11 hour lay over then Accra, Ghana with an 8 hour layover, then Tamale, Ghana with a 4 hour drive after...THEN I'll be at my first destination...sure hope they have internet in those airports!!!
I figured it would take about 70 total hours from the time I left to actually get to my first destination in Ghana to visit the Federwitz family. That's if everything goes well! The Federwitz's serve with Lutheran Bible Translators in conjunction with Wycliffe Bible Translators...I'll post more of their work when I get there...
Isn't it cool that the first plane I take has the number 777? Thanks again for all the prayers! Yesterday, in worship, it was a powerful time. I truly felt like all the hands laid on me were lifting me up in prayer...You are a blessing! I'll post more later when I'm stuck in the airport with nothing to do but write posts on this blog!
