When we arrived at David’s house, we were greeted with food (I ate extremely well on this leg of the trip, thanks to the ministry that Valery, David’s wife, shared with us all!). It’s hot and muggy in Ghana this time of year, but they all told me that it was cool for them…guess I’ve been living in So. Cal. too long…seemed pretty warm to me, but not unbearable by any means.
That night, I slept over 12 hours straight…Praise the Lord, I woke up totally refreshed and ready to go! I also go to know the 4, count them 4 Federwitz children, Makayla 6, Josiah 5, Micah 3 and Joyanna who is 18 months…some of the sweetest children I’ve ever met…I loved their excitement for life!
